William Forrest, Tuesday 22nd September
Throughout 2026, Bristol Cathedral is celebrating the return of its historic organ following 18 months of meticulous restoration. Many of this year’s lunchtime recitals form part of the Grand Organ Festival, giving audiences the opportunity to experience the newly restored instrument in all its splendour.
On Tuesday 22nd September, Bristol Cathedral Music Assistant William Forrest is giving a recital in which he will be playing music by Bach, Franck and Stanford.
The recital is at 1.15pm and lasts around 45 mins. No booking is required, and there is no charge. A live video feed from the console will be projected onto a large screen to allow the audience a close-up view of the performer’s artistry and skill.
