"La Nativite du Seigneur" Olivier Messiaen

Monday 20th December 2021 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Bristol Cathedral, Bristol

Paul Walton will play Messiaen’s La Nativité du Seigneur at Bristol Cathedral 7.00pm Monday 20th December .  The cycle presents a tableaux of nine movements, telling not only the story of the nativity of Jesus Christ, but also a journey which expresses theological ideas through music.  As usual it will be performed in a candlelit Cathedral suffused with incense: sound, light, and scent in praise to God.

Advanced booking is not required this year but face coverings will be required whilst in the Cathedral.

Please check Cathedral website nearer the time for any last minute changes.  What’s On – Bristol Cathedral (bristol-cathedral.co.uk)
