There will be a members’ composite recital at St Mary Redcliffe on Monday 13th May starting at 7pm. There has been a good response to the request for participants and everyone who expressed an interest will be playing at the event. The event will be in three parts. The first part will be the practice time for each participant of around 20 minutes per person. Claire Alsop the Assistant Organist at SMR will be on hand to assist each person with registration and management of the organ. Everyone will be free to watch this and to listen from around the building.
There will then be a short break of around 20 minutes when wine or soft drinks will be served. This will be followed by a recital of the 5 pieces.
Access to the church will be through the choir song room door which is to the left of the main church entrance off Redcliffe Way. This door should be open from 6.45pm but please do try to arrive before 7.00pm.
