With the support of St Monica Trust, Eric Tyson has organised a new series of matinée recitals on the recently refurbished Willis organ in the Chapel at Cote Lane. They take place on the third Monday of each month at 2pm.
This month the organist is James Lancelot, Canon Organist Emeritus of Durham Cathedral.
His programme is as follows:
- J S Bach: Prelude and Fugue in B minor, BWV 544
- Brahms: Mein Jesu, der du mich, Opus 122 No 1
- Langlais: Prélude modal, Opus 6 No 1
- Vierne: Allegro vivace [Scherzo] from Symphonie I, Opus 14
- Franck: Pièce héroïque
