The format of the Bristol Open Console afternoon has changed due to ongoing repair work at Redland Park URC and Holy Trinity Westbury-on-Trym. The focus for the afternoon will therefore be on two organs: St Monica’s Chapel, Cote Lane, Westbury on Trym, BS9 3UN, and All Saints Church, 68 Pembroke Road, Clifton BS8 3ED.

Please note the road from the White Tree Roundabout across the Downs is currently closed so you will have to approach St Monica’s from the opposite direction.  The road next to Badminton School is still open though so you can get onto the St Monica’s site in the usual way.  (It would be worth checking that they have not moved the road works by Saturday)  The door at the side of the Chapel at the top of the ramp will be open.

Parking on the street at All Saints is free on a Saturday and the church will be open as usual.

The list below details members who have requested to play at the venues and time slots allocated by Eric who will be at All Saints to assist players as required. Nick will be at St Monica’s to assist. Please arrive on time for your slot so everything runs smoothly.

At 4.30pm BDOA President Nick Sherwood will give a short talk on the St Monica’s organ and the plans for its restoration.  This will take place in the chapel at St Monica’s and all are welcome to this without any prior booking, also at either venue during the afternoon as listeners.
