Jeanne Demessieux gave a recital in the Colston Hall on 3rd March 1967, the year before she died. It was recorded by the BBC and subsequently issued on a Decca LP. This excerpt is of an improvisation on a theme of Dr Adrian Beaumont who was Professor of Music at Bristol University at the time. Earlier that year she had also recorded in Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, where Richard Lea, is currently Organist.
