Gavin Phelps is giving a lunchtime recital on 12th March at Wells Cathedral – 1.05 to 1.45pm. Gavin is Junior Organ Scholar at Wells Cathedral/Wells Cathedral School.
His programme is as follows:
- J.S. Bach – Prelude and Fugue in D major BWV 532
- Bridge – Adagio in E major
- J.S. Bach – Mvt. 1 ‘Adagio – Vivace’ from Sonata no.4 in E minor BWV 528
- Pietro Yon – Humoresque “L’organo Primitivo” (Toccatina for flute)
- Cesar Franck – Chorale No.1 in E major
