BDOA student member Rafael Estrella has been invited to give an organ recital at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, on Sunday 15 March at 3PM. The recital forms part of an outreach programme curated by the college’s Sub-Organist, Richard Moore, celebrating and supporting talented young organists from across the UK.
Rafael’s programme will include:
- Gaston Bélier – Toccata
- J.S. Bach – Prelude in E major, BWV 566
- William Mathias – Fanfare
- Edward Elgar – Nimrod (from Enigma Variations)
- C.H.H. Parry – Rockingham Prelude
- Hans Zimmer (arr.) – The Kraken (from Pirates of the Caribbean)
- G.F. Couperin – Offertoire
