There will be a concert by Pavlos Triantaris and Marily Kritikou at Holy Trinity Horfield at 3pm on Saturday 30 August.

John's programme is based on hymn tunes and includes works by Grayston Ives, Joseph Bonnet and Denis Bedard as well as one of his own compositions. Coffee and home-made cake will be served from 10.30am. The music begins at 11.00am and lasts for about 30 – 40 minutes.

CAROLYN CRAIG, Assistant organist at Wells Cathedral, plays works by J S Bach, Florence Price and Cortège et Litanie (Dupré)

RUTH VAN RYNEVELD | Soprano. After singing in the SMR girls’ choir, and then having a Gap Year Scholarship supported by The Ousley Church Music Trust, Ruth gives a farewell recital to SMR this summer before she heads to university.

GAVIN PHELPS, organ

Paul Walton continues his all-Bach series of recitals at All Saints Clifton, featuring at its heart the Trio Sonata No 3 in Dmin, BWV527.

Saturday 5th July at 2pm at St Monica's. The event will be in three parts: A short talk by Nick Sherwood, a demonstration of the organ; open console for members to explore the rebuilt organ.

Harry van Wijk (Concert organist, Holland) plays Debussy - Clair de Lune, Fauré - Sicilenne, plus music from Schindler's List and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Jake Scicinksi | Organ. "German Contrapuntalists and their Musical Descendants" An exciting programme taking us from Bach through to Parry and Ireland. The programme is set to include Benedictus by Alec Rowley and Mendelssohn’s Third Sonata.

Saturday morning recitals at St James's Church, Dursley. Coffee, tea and cakes are available from 1030; the music starts at 1100 and lasts about 30-40 minutes. Entry is free but there will be a retiring collection to support the work of St James's Church.
